In Yeshuah We Are

Lamed Messianic Studies

This was some musing over a couple of days back in 2008 about what we were in the Messiah. The idea here was to find as many things as I could without repeating words or phrases to explain and exemplify what our existence in Him was or could be. Scriptural references are something I would like to add along with each entry for the future of study and edification, but for now it was just an example of all the words and ideas in my head pulled totally from memory about what I have learned about myself and what HaShem says about me from the Bible.

I was surprised to discover in this writing that at the center of three across, 10th from the top, and 12th from the bottom of the list was the idea that we were the His (The L-rd's) praise in Messiah (The anointed One in G-d Who saves by His Name). This gave me the idea that we were between loving G-d and loving Others using ourselves as a conduit of His love, supposed to be under the submission of the 10 Commandments, but upheld and encouraged by the acts and writings of the 12 apostles in living out our lives. And, just as I suspected, right in the very middle at 11 away from top and bottom was the center of it all - Saved from Punishment - followed by sealed with the Holy Spirit of (He Whom was) promise(d) [which separates the 12 tribes lifted high from the 10 horns of the nations fallen]. Of course, the 11th number has special prominence of meaning in the Biblical text and may remind us that within the 11 curtains made for the tabernacle (Exodus 26:7, 36:14) there are those who are hidden from the world in His salvation and become part of the 11 He shown Himself to after the payment was made (Mark 16:14, Luke 24:9). This was just a list, and by no means planned nor was it immediately seen. All I can say is that it must have been a G-d thing. Enjoy.
